DEGREE EXEMPLIFICATIONS
The Exemplification for the 2nd Ontario
District will take place
June 20, 21 and 22, 2008.

The new candidate must be:
A practicing Catholic in union with the Holy
See and a
Third Degree member in good standing who has
been initiated into the order (taken his first degree) at least one
year prior to the Fourth Degree Exemplification date (six month
waiver still in effect until further notice).
For purposes of this Exemplification, Third
Degree members who have joined the order on or before Dec. 23, 2007
will qualify.
The Exemplification will take place on
Saturday, with registration commencing at 10 AM. The degree will
start at 11 AM followed by a parade to the Cenotaph at 2 PM. Doors
open for the banquet at 6 PM with dinner being served at 7 PM. On
Sunday, the Mass will be at 9 AM followed by the Knighting Ceremony.
The dress code for the Exemplification is
the official dress of the Fourth Degree which consists of the
following: black tuxedo (single breasted is preferred), plain white
tuxedo shirt (flat laid down collar), black cummerbund, black bow
tie, black shoes, black socks, suspenders and white gloves. Note that
Chapeau and Red Cape are not required for the Exemplification and can
be purchased at a later date.
There are two types of Exemplification fees
to choose from, with the first being the Regalia fee of $325, which
includes the degree fee, one sword, sword case, service baldric,
social baldric, Fourth Degree lapel pin, and one banquet ticket. The
other is the basic package of $150, which includes the degree fee,
social baldric, Fourth Degree lapel pin, and one banquet ticket. Note
that extra banquet tickets for your wife or other guests are
available at a cost of $59 each.
