FOURTH
DEGREE EXEMPLIFICATIONS
The Exemplification for the 2nd Ontario
District will take place
June 13, 2009.
Location:
Hilton Garden Inn, 3201 Highway 7, Vaughan, ON
The new candidate must be:
A practicing Catholic in union with the Holy
See and a
Third Degree member in good standing who has
been initiated into the order (taken his first degree) at least one
year prior to the Fourth Degree Exemplification date (six month
waiver still in effect until further notice).
For purposes of this Exemplification, Third
Degree members who have joined the order on or before December 13,
2008 will qualify.
The Exemplification will be only one day,
Saturday June 13th, with registration commencing at 10 AM. The degree
will start at 1 PM after Mass (at 11 AM) and Lunch at 12 Noon. Doors
open for the banquet at 6 PM with dinner being served at 6:30 PM.
Cost of sword, case and service baldric will
be $150.00.
Ladies Program is $25 for lunch and entertainment.
The dress code for the Exemplification is
the official dress of the Fourth Degree which consists of the
following: black tuxedo (single breasted is preferred), plain white
tuxedo shirt (flat laid down collar), black cummerbund, black bow
tie, black shoes, black socks, suspenders and white gloves. Note that
Chapeau and Red Cape are not required for the Exemplification and can
be purchased at a later date.
This year the Exemplification fees will be
basic package of $125, which includes the degree fee, social baldric,
Fourth Degree lapel pin, and one banquet ticket. Note that extra
banquet tickets for your wife or other guests are available at a cost
of $55 each.
Hotel accomodation is available for those
interested at a rate of $120.00 plus taxes
